9. Model & quality options
Two settings control how good, fast, and expensive an analysis is: the analysis depth and, where offered, the model. Both live on the Configure screen.
Analysis depth
Depth is how closely the AI reads each frame. Higher depth finds more — fine text, on-screen writing, OCR, subtle detail — but costs more per video. It doesn't change your video; it changes how much the AI sees.

Sane default: leave it on Auto. Only force Deep when the value is in the on-screen text — a coding tutorial, a slide deck, a UI walkthrough.
Premium Insights
Beyond the always-included modules (Frame Timeline, Transcript, Topics, Key Entities), you can switch on Premium Insights for a deeper report:
- Content Analysis — hook effectiveness and pacing.
- Expert Feedback — thumbnail assessment plus strengths and improvements.
- SEO + Competitive — keywords, search optimization, and competitive positioning.
- Audio Health — speech clarity, loudness, and noise, with the fix.
Each group adds to the cost, shown live in the estimate. Sane default: for a full strategic read, turn them all on. For a quick check, leave them off and rely on the included modules.
Model selector
When a model selector is shown, it lists the Gemini models currently available. Pick by the trade-off in each model's tagline — for example, a "flash" model favors speed and balance, while a "pro" model favors highest quality at slower speed. Sane default: the recommended model is a good balance; only switch to a higher-quality model when you need the most careful read and don't mind waiting.
The simple rule
For most videos: Auto depth, recommended model, Premium Insights on. That gives you the full report at a sensible cost. Turn things down for a quick look, or turn depth up when the detail is on screen.
