15. Account Storage: your attachment usage

Reference images you attach to feedback moments (Chapter 7) live in your account's cloud storage. Storage in the profile menu (bottom of the left sidebar) shows what you are using and lets you clean up.

What you see

  • Used of allowance — the bar at the top. Past the allowance, storage is billed per GB (the rate is shown in the pane) and new attachments pause until you free space.
  • By video — every video that has attachments, largest first, with its title and thumbnail. Expand one to see each image: which moment it belongs to, what it is for (replace, match, contact sheet…), and its size. Open analysis takes you to the report.
  • Temporary files — things you have that are not counted: videos shared into collaboration sessions (deleted when sessions end, within 7 days), working copies on Google for uploads (about 48 hours), and what is cached on this device.

Deleting

Delete a single image with its trash icon — it disappears at once and you have a few seconds to Undo. Delete all on a video asks you to confirm and cannot be undone. Usage updates immediately either way. Use the filter to find a video and Sort by size or date.

Questions people ask

Do uploaded videos count against storage?

No. Uploads go straight to Google and are removed within about 48 hours; only feedback attachments count.

What happens when I go over the allowance?

New attachments pause until you free space; the pane highlights the largest videos so you can start there.

If an analysis expired, are its attachments gone?

No. They stay in Storage (marked “analysis expired”) until you delete them.
