7. Editorial feedback and the editor-ready feedback.md

A report tells you what is wrong. Editorial feedback is where you say what to do about it — in plain words, moment by moment — and hand that to whoever cuts the next version. Open any completed report and choose Feedback in the action bar. The workspace opens with the video on the left and your notes on the right.

What you can leave a note on

Frame Timeline — every scene segment.
Chapters — each chapter of the video.
Transcript — every line, in any language the transcript is in.
Modules — Hook, Pacing, Thumbnail, Strengths, Improvements, SEO & Keywords, Competitive, Audio Health.

Switch between these with the section tabs; each shows how many items it has and how many notes you've written. Click a row to expand it, type the fix, and it saves as you go. Click a timestamp to play that moment (Chapter 6). Use the filter box to find a segment by its description or your note, and Notes only to see just what you've written.

Auto-draft with AI

Auto-draft with AI writes a first pass for you: a specific, actionable note on every segment, chapter, line and module, with weak moments flagged by severity. It is metered — the cost is shown before you run it — and every drafted note is editable, so treat it as a starting point, not a verdict. Choose a lens (for example General (whole video)) to steer what the draft looks for. Undo reverts the whole draft in one step. Auto-draft only fills moments you haven’t written a note on yet; it never overwrites notes you’ve already made.

Reference images

On visual moments — Frame Timeline segments and chapters — you can Attach reference images: a frame to replace, a style to match, a contact sheet, a transition to mark. For uploaded videos the app can auto-capture the frame at that moment for you. Attachments are stored in your account's cloud storage, metered against a free allowance, synced across your devices, and deletable any time from Storage in your profile menu (Chapter 15). Text-only moments (transcript lines and text modules) take notes only.

Exporting feedback.md

Export feedback.md produces one Markdown file that reads top to bottom like an edit list: each moment with its timestamp, the original description, and your note. If you attached images you get a .zip with feedback.md and an images/ folder, with each note pointing at its file. Hand it to a human editor, or to Claude Code with your project — it is written to be acted on directly.
