Contentine Labs — video intelligence for institutions
The archive, answerable.
আর্কাইভ, উত্তরের জন্য প্রস্তুত — বাংলা ও ইংরেজিতে।
Institutional footage — broadcast decades, proceedings, lectures, evidence — becomes a governed, searchable asset: indexed to the second, questioned in plain Bangla or English, exported with a complete audit trail. Deployed in your cloud, in your country, or fully air-gapped.
Broadcasters · government archives · courts · universities · regulated enterprise
Global vendors sell the engine and leave you to build the system. Contentine Labs delivers the finished system — running where your policy says it must.
Ingest, index, search console, governed export, roles and audit — usable by your staff on day one. Built on the analysis engine proven in public at contentine.ai.
Three capabilities. One private index.
Everything runs on a single index of your footage — built once, owned by you, readable by your team as plain text.
Index
Footage becomes structured, timestamped data.
One pass over the archive produces a second-by-second written record — what is seen, what is said, what appears as text on screen — with originals checksummed and never altered.
- Bulk ingest from drives, folders and tape restores
- Scene descriptions and full transcripts, timestamped
- On-screen text captured as searchable data
- Mixed-language archives handled as the normal case
- Inputs
- Broadcast tape restores, drives, watch-folders, existing digital libraries
- Output
- Timestamped index — scenes, speech, on-screen text — exportable as readable text
- Languages
- Bangla and English first-class; others scoped per engagement
- Integrity
- Originals checksummed; index inspectable; nothing overwritten
Search
Any moment, one sentence away.
Authorised staff question the entire library in plain language and get timecoded moments back — previewable from the exact second, labelled by how they matched, exportable as broadcast-ready clips.
- Seen, spoken and on-screen-text matching
- Preview from the exact second of the hit
- Collections for desks, cases and programmes
- Clip and still export, logged per user
- Query
- Plain language — no metadata vocabulary to learn
- Result
- Timecode, source and match type; grounded in the index, never invented
- Export
- Clips and stills, delivered through governed, audited channels
- Honesty
- Zero results is a valid answer — the system does not fabricate
Govern
Access, retention and proof — as product.
The controls a regulator, bench or board expects are first-class features: who may see what, how long footage is kept, and verifiable proof of what left the system and when.
- Role-based access; every action attributed
- Retention windows and legal holds
- Hashed, tamper-evident exports
- Production packs prepared for the regulator
- Audit
- Complete log of searches, views and exports — owned by your compliance team
- Retention
- Per-asset windows, legal holds, deletion on schedule
- Evidence
- Chain-of-custody exports with checksums and access history
- Exit
- Data return and deletion are contract terms — originals, index, log
Accessibility
Captions, audio description and plain-language search for public media and education — delivered with our Shruti-Drishti accessibility programme.
Insights
Library-level intelligence: holdings summaries, usage and licensing reports, board- and donor-ready briefs drawn from the index.
Extensions
Scoped where the need is real and the red lines hold: continuous compliance recording, first-broadcast provenance checks, and the index as a layer beside an existing MAM.
Runs where your policy says it must.
Three postures, one product. This table is the conversation your security officer wants first — so it comes first.
| Parameter | T1 — Cloud | T2 — In-country | T3 — Air-gapped |
|---|---|---|---|
| Footage and index | Managed cloud, disclosed region | Approved data centre in Bangladesh | Your own facility |
| Internet required | Yes | Policy-scoped | No — fully offline |
| AI models | Frontier-class, cloud | Cloud or local, per policy | On-premises — open or certified frontier-class |
| Access and audit | Full | Full | Full |
| Sensitive-data posture | Case-by-case | PDPA-2026 aligned | PDPA-2026 aligned |
| Best fit | OTT · education · agencies | Broadcasters · banks · ministries | Courts · parliament · classified archives |
| Typical start | Days | Weeks | Scoped deployment |
Postures are scoped per engagement. The air-gapped tier operates with no internet connection at all.
Built for the rooms where footage piles up.
Broadcast and news
Twenty years of bulletins become a librarian who answers in seconds — rundown clips in minutes, retrospectives self-served, the archive run as a licensing desk instead of a storage bill.
Government archives and heritage
Broadcast history, film heritage and parliamentary proceedings — preserved, indexed, and answerable to researchers, with access controlled and every request logged.
Courts and evidence
Hearing recordings with hashed exports, tamper-evident logs, retention rules and chain-of-custody production packs when the bench asks.
Education and public media
Question-to-timestamp search across course libraries, automatic chapters, captioning and audio description for public content.
OTT and sports
Chaptering, moment discovery, highlight retrieval and compliance review across full catalogues — finding every instance of a moment is a sentence, not a project.
Banking and regulated enterprise
Service and compliance recordings retrieved by what was said, behind role-gated access and a complete audit trail, aligned with data-protection duties.
In-country and air-gapped tiers are built for the Personal Data Protection Act 2026's sensitive-data storage expectations, with consent, access-control and audit duties treated as product features.
Public-sector delivery runs alongside your enlisted systems integrator and standard e-GP processes; specifications and support annexes are prepared for tender inclusion. Briefings in Bangla or English. The international overview is at the global edition.
Red lines, in writing.
Institutions trust systems whose limits are explicit. Ours are contractual, not cosmetic.
Identity is gated, not default
In standard engagements the platform describes appearance, not identity — individuals are never named or matched. Identity capabilities exist only in a separate government mode: agreed in writing, on a documented lawful basis and authorisation, limited to named subjects, with human review of every match. Never enabled by default.
No mass surveillance
We index archives you own — not the public, not social media, not live populations. Untargeted watchlisting and real-time population matching are declined in every contract.
No silent access
Every search, view and export is attributed and logged. Audit is a feature your compliance team owns.
No lock-in
Leave with everything — untouched originals, the full index as readable text, the audit log. Return and deletion are contract terms.
In their default appearance-only configuration, deployments carry no biometric identification, categorisation or emotion inference — keeping them in the EU AI Act’s minimal-risk tier, which matters to multinational and donor-funded programmes. The restricted government identity mode is treated as high-risk processing, scoped per jurisdiction to a lawful basis and the Act’s (or local equivalent’s) requirements, and never used for real-time remote identification in public spaces.
From first call to daily use.

Questions institutions ask.
Does our footage leave our premises?
Only on the cloud tier, and we disclose exactly where processing happens. In-country keeps footage and index inside your jurisdiction; the air-gapped tier runs with no internet connection at all. The posture is a contract term, not a preference.
Can it identify people in the footage?
By default, no. In standard engagements the platform describes appearance, not identity — it can find “a man in a red jacket near the gate” without telling you who he is. Identity capabilities are offered only under a separate, restricted government mode: agreed in writing, on a documented lawful basis and authorisation, limited to named subjects, with human review of every match and a full audit trail. It is never enabled by default, and never used for untargeted or mass surveillance.
Which languages does it understand?
Bangla and English are first-class — spoken word, on-screen text, and mixed-language archives. Other languages run through the same engine; tell us what's in your library and we'll scope it honestly.
How does this fit the Personal Data Protection Act 2026?
The Act expects sensitive personal data to be stored in-country with consent, access control and accountability. Our in-country and air-gapped tiers, role-based access, retention rules and audit logs are built to sit inside that framework. Orientation, not legal advice — your counsel confirms your obligations.
We already run a media asset manager. Do we have to replace it?
No. The index can sit as a layer beside your MAM — searchable through our console, exportable as sidecar metadata — rather than forcing a rip-and-replace.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You take everything: originals untouched, the full index as readable text, and the audit log. Data return and deletion are contract terms, not negotiations.
How long until our team can search?
A pilot slice is typically searchable within days of receiving footage; a full 1,000-hour pilot completes inside 30 days, including deployment, training, and your team's own test queries.
